Thinking that the new look Supernova, dubbed Supernova X, killed the original Supernova, Darkwing attacks her, determined to avenge her fallen comrade!
Darkwing manages to de-power Supernova and beat her in a vicious fight. Then, the Gate Keepers arrive just as Darkwing realizes that Supernova X is in fact her friend, the original Supernova. Together, the superheroines team up to take down the Gate Keepers.
