In “Athena 3: Mark of a Heroine”,  Athena’s story picks up where it left off with a captured and unconscious Athena. She is then transformed into her human persona and tortured topless by garroting until Black Mask appears and decides to pit her in costume against his enhanced Collector in order to study her fighting technique. Athena fights well, but is eventually bearhugged, broken with a backbreaker, rendered topless and suspended by her opponent, but at the last minute escapes and triumphs, killing her opponent!

Athena appears first in her civilian identity as MI6 Agent Alexander, dressed in a tight catsuit that nicely displays her substantial assets. She is attacked and viciously strangled by the Red Ribbon Strangler! She is for all intents and purposes dead… complete with death stare… but it ends up that she’s just extremely good at playing dead! After fooling him into thinking she’s dead, she surprises him with a kick that floors him. When he recovers, Agent Alexander is nowhere to be seen, but Athena has appeared to take up the battle. RRS manages to distract Athena, takie the advantage, and chloroform her, but is even this enough to stop this amazing Amazon warrior?
