Xander seems to have found a way to change Supernova back into her Dark Nova body, but without her insanity, and more importantly without her immunity to Novanite!

Once de-powered, she succumbs to a beating by two of Xander’s henchmen, who appear to strangle her to death, but her powers return in time to revive her. Then, she is chloroformed and her neck is snapped just as she recovers consciousness. Her beautiful body is then unceremoniously carried away over the shoulder of one of the henchmen.

The Collectors have decided to collect Edgewing City’s newest bad ass heroine… Dark Bat. They find her, and catch her off-guard, in her home. The Collector tasked with collecting her first tries to simply chloroform her into submission, but when that fails, more drastic methods have to be employed to bring her in dead of alive! In both versions, Dark Bat is beaten, knocked out, and tied to a chair, where she is garrotted when she regains consciousness. After playing dead, she manages to slip her bonds and remove a gun that she had previously secreted under the chair. In this Peril version, she shoots the Collector dead!

She rises to shut it off, but it has already taken its toll and she weakens and passes out. A Gatekeeper carries her into the bedroom and tosses her on the bed. Then, he takes instructions to gas her to death. In the meantime though, she has recovered consciousness. Dark Bat takes the fight to him, knocking him about and dominating the fight, but eventually he gets in a few good shots and manages to turn on the gas again and don his gas mask. Dark Bat knocks the gas mask free, and both struggle to reach it before the other one. Dark Bat manages to struggle against the Gatekeeper and dons the mask. Then, she defeats and kills him!
